Cybersecurity Readiness – Newly Released Report
You don’t need me to tell you why it’s critical that your networks and endpoints be protected from cyberthreats, or for me to share yet another scary stat related to cyberattacks.
Over the past little while, we’ve also discussed Breach Response Readiness plans and the importance of being compliant from a cyber insurance perspective.
So why write today, again, on the same type of topic? Because the tools to take out a system are evolving at exponential rates thanks to AI and machine learning – and because bad actors are becoming increasingly sophisticated at using the new tools. The cyber criminals are also extremely persistent, but again, that’s nothing new.
Instead, I’d simply like to suggest two quick pieces of reading:
- Cisco’s Cybersecurity Readiness Index Report which came out in March, 2023. It talks about how system and cybersecurity needs have changed now that most organisations have adopted a hybrid workplace, and now have a distributed network. The report provides a global perspective.
