Everllence, a global leader in propulsion and decarbonization technologies, embarked on an AI transformation to dramatically improve how maritime engineers access mission-critical expertise while operating far from shore. These teams work with increasingly complex engine systems, often integrating new green technologies that require fast and reliable troubleshooting. To support field operators and reduce diagnostic delays, Everllence created a custom AI chatbot capable of delivering validated technical answers in a minute or less.

This AI transformation was enabled by Amazon Bedrock and integrated directly into the Everllence CEON cloud platform. Using Anthropic’s Claude models, the chatbot analyzes more than 5 million technical documents and live telemetry from 1,778 connected sites to deliver accurate, secure, and contextually relevant responses. Built-in guardrails ensure factual reliability, and the system clearly indicates when no dependable answer exists—reinforcing trust and consistency for maritime crews working under high operational pressure.

The initiative marks the foundation of a broader AI transformation across Everllence’s service ecosystem. The company is expanding the chatbot to handle multi-source queries, automate daily equipment reporting, and connect with operational workflows such as spare parts ordering. By equipping internal teams with self-service data tools and preparing for a wider external rollout, Everllence is positioning AI as a strategic capability that enhances service performance, accelerates decision-making, and strengthens long-term customer value in the maritime and industrial sectors.
